For Rebecca Dewan, style is an extension of one’s personality. The fashion entrepreneur, who ventured into mainstream designing by launching her eponymous haute couture label in August 2016, believes even a simple ensemble embellished with luxury can give you an edge above others.
Her work is an eclectic mix of the rich and traditional craftsmanship of India and international trends and forecasts. Her aim is to personify the modern Indian woman — be it in the traditional chikankari work embellished with leather 3D flowers or the constructed silhouettes blended with detailed embroidery.
Dresses, sarees, lehengas, tops, jackets and gowns embellished with mukaish and resham embroidery, luxurious crystals and Swarovski embellishment add an element of grandeur to the garments. |
